Bio

Tariq Ibrahim (b. 1994) was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. He is currently a student at Bowie State University and is working toward receiving his Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication & Digital Media Arts with a concentration in Digital Media Arts. During his time at BSU, Tariq has worked for the Fine & Performing Arts Department under the work study program (2012-2014), served as Vice President of the BSU Artists’ Guild (2013-2015), and served as President of the BSU Golden Voices Toastmasters (2014-2015). He was also a member of the Bowie State University Concert Choir (2012-2017) and participated in BSU Theatre’s productions of Lysistrata, Benghal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, and the First Annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. Outside of academics, Tariq is a freelance videographer/photographer based out of District Heights, Maryland.
